So frustrating when politicians ignore science and follow their own biased opinions! It's discouraging Gord but we all need to keep up the pressure in our corners of the world. Thank you for your diligence and example.
First rule of politics is self-preservation; if the constituency is crying "pipelines" you either park your climate-change concerns or say goodbye to politics. It's the constituency that has to change; broaden and deepen the common knowledge until the need for action is not only understood, but actively supported. I suspect the process will resemble Hemingway's description of bankruptcy, " little by little, then all of a sudden". Thanks, Gord
